Terrific stovetop smoker and wood chips. A few years ago, we learned about this Cameron stovetop smoker from Michael Salmon, during one of his great cooking classes. He turned plain plum tomatoes into a smoky sauce that was the star of the meal, and he shared how great it smoked both salmon and chicken, and more. To make a long story short, I gave it to my husband as a gift and it is now one of our (his, actually!) favorite kitchen tools. With it, he turns chicken thighs into a memorably tasty entree! And we think Cameron is a trustworthy source of good quality wood shavings to use with it as well. Fun to use. Wonderful to treat friends (and ourselves) to home smoked salmon for dinners.
